Drift HD720 Announced!

Drift has announced the release of the new HD720 action camera!  Coming in at $229 RRP, this cam is low priced but still packed with a lot of the features of its big brother, the Drift HD. The new HD720 will be hitting Australian shelves in the next 2 weeks. Stay tuned for more updates!

New Drift HD firmware

The Drift HD now has support for embedding a timestamp into your footage. There are a couple of other little tweaks and enhancements with this newest firmware, but the embedded timestamp is a great feature.

New Drift HD firmware - 1.1.28

Drift have released a new firmware upgrade for the Drift HD. There's a range of enhancements: 

  • Add 1 min option on timelapse photo.
  • Ignore LCD off timer during playback.
  • Improve audio sync.
  • No beep sound when speaker is set to mute.
  • Smoother AE changes under 720p 50/60 fps.
